RACE NIGHT - Roaring Success
Despite the adverse weather there was an excellent turnout for the WWFC Race Night.
Despite the adverse weather there was an excellent turnout for the WWFC Race Night. The night was ably compared by the dapper John Parker, and assisted on the Tote by Kingo, Kempy, Tookey and Russ D. We should also thank the guest commentator Kempy Jnr, who had the assembled in heaps of laughter, although not sure why, as no one could understand him. If anyone taped his commendatory please forward to a linguistic expert for deciphering :)
Other people who to made a significant contribution to the night, were Dave the Barman, Keith the Doorman and Paul the Printer, all whose services are available at a price.
Thanks to all those who did turn out, sponsors, players, family, guests who made for really enjoyable and fun evening. The club hope to have raised near £2000.
Finally, thanks to JP, without whose effort we would not have got the event organised. Hope he goes for a hat trick following this and the Band Night.
