Wetherby are to host the semi-final of the HJT 2012 between Edingburgh Eagles and Northampton Demons on Sunday 9th September, kick-off 2pm.

Perfectly located just off the A1M means that the Bulldogs home ground is perfectly situated to host this fixture.

Sides from seven Tier 4 regions have been contesting the silverware which was previously played for by the Premier Division sides in the Rugby League Conference and is currently held by Parkside Hawks.

Commenting on the draw, 92-year-old Harry Jepson OBE said: “One of the highlights of my career in rugby league administration at all levels, is to have a trophy named after me that encompasses teams which sees the sport continue to develop geographically.

"That has always been a passion of mine from the days in 1934 when, as a schoolboy, I was privileged to meet the great Jean Galia and the first French tourists.”

It's an honour to be asked to host a game of this calibre and is testament to the hard working volunteers at the club that the RFL considered Wetherby Bulldogs for the fixture.
