Senior Team Netball Trials

As the summer leagues approach their finish, we start turning our thoughts to next season. Its been an exciting year for the club with both our A and B team being promoted in the Surrey Netball league alongside great performances in Kingston and Met leagues too.

If you're new to the club, coming back to us after a break, or indeed a club stalwart who just wants more information, here are a few Q&As about trials. But, for details about selection policy, please read the attached document.

Q - When do trials take place?
A - Thursday 28 August and Thursday 4 September at Sir William Perkins's School in Chertsey from 7.30pm

Q - Which teams are you selecting?
A - We will be selecting our A and B team on these nights.

Q - Should I sign up to trials?
A - Absolutely! But...our one request is only sign up to trial if you can commit to most Saturday mornings/early afternoons to play matches.

Q - What happens if I don't make the A or B team?
A - There are plenty more opportunities to play netball for the club. We have two teams that play on a Tuesday night in Woking. Plus, there are often occasions when we need players to fill in gaps on a Saturday.

Q - I'm unsure if I'm experienced enough to trial?
A - We welcome everyone to trial, but if you're unsure then please come along to training on August 21st and we'll be happy to offer guidance and chat about netball and the teams. This might help your decision.
