Weybridge Vandals first home game of the season will be against newly promoted Old Emanuel, who secured a bonus point win last weekend in a close encounter with Portsmouth, and a large crowd of support is expected for the 1XV in what will be a very special occasion for the club.

Weybridge Vandals welcomes Rex Montgomery and Alan Vause to the club to celebrate the occasion of their 70 years membership having joined the club in 1947. Rex was 1XV Captain in 1954-55 and Alan Vause Treasurer from 1959 to 1965. They are each Vice Presidents and continue to support the club financially through membership of the 500 Club, Raffles, etc.

We are also welcoming the families of Peter Annett and Tony Dudman who will be unveiling benches in memory of these two great Vandals donated by their friends. The unveiling will take place at 2.45pm and immediately afterwards supporters will gather to applaud both teams on to the pitch.

Saturday's team sees four changes from the agonisingly close defeat at Battersea, including George Bolster who is rested due to an injury picked up against Reeds and joins a lengthy injury list. Harrison Edgson makes his first league appearance of the season at hooker along with Ashley Howkins who starts at scrumhalf. On the bench, James O'Neill is recalled and there is a potential run on debut for new recruit, James Hannah.

Kick Off is at 3:00pm Saturday at Brownacres.
