History

Founded in 1927, Whitchurch-Heath Cricket Club is situated in Whitchurch, a suburb of North Cardiff. Currently, the club runs four Senior league sides on Saturdays, all playing in the Welsh Club Cricket Conference. In addition the club also plays a number of friendly matches taking place either on Sunday or during the week.
Games are either played within the grounds of Whitchurch Hospital (1st, 2nd & friendly XIs) or nearby at Whitchurch High School (3rd and 4th XIs and junior sides). Maps and directions to both grounds can be found on this site within the 'About Us' section.
As well as senior cricket the club has a thriving youth section (details of which you can find by clicking on the 'Juniors' tab, located to on the left hand of this site). Teams are run at the under 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17 age groups with all sides being overseen by a UKCC qualified coach and assistants. The junior sides all play in the Cardiff & Vale Junior Cricket League with games taking place throughout the week.
Whitchurch-Heath Cricket Club is dedicated to playing competitive cricket in a welcoming and social atmosphere and as such we welcome players of all standards and abilities.
