Whitecraigs Fun Day 27th May 2012
Hello Everyone,
First and apology - I posted training details for 20th May on the 1st XV page, which now explains why I received so many texts asking if training was on! Sorry if this caught anyone out.
Next Sunday - the 27th - is our Fun Day. Four teams are selected in the time honoured fashion of "tallest to smallest" for the President, Vice President, Captain and Coach's teams. We will play Touch Rugby, Rolf (rugby golf), Rugby Rounders, Obstacle Course and the two teams with the highest points tally will compete in a final Tug-o-War.
Cheating and skulduggery are mandatory, as is participation by every member of the Club - so please come along and take part. I will let people off if they operate the barbecue, or tuck shop, etc, but no one else!
Afterwards, the "Whitecraigs Cup" will be presented to the winning team (usually mine!) and then we will hand medals, certificates and prizes out to all the players. Drink may be taken as instructed. Could you e-mail me on "jon@jawarchitects.co.uk" to make sure that I have the correct spelling of your child's name for the certificate please?
We will also have a kit exchange on the day, so if you have any rugby kit that you/your child has outgrown and wish to pass on to a willing recipient (I'm a 44" chest, 36" waist and size 10 feet...), please bring it along.
