I would like to express my gratitude to all the members who helped with the 5th Ciderfest & Music Festival, considering the unpredictable weather, we yet again pulled it off & it was quite a success.

This event relies heavily on volunteers and this was admirably achieved by the Ciderfest committee headed up by Steve Price, Simon Bishop, with the media & music side provided by Smiles.

The event is only possible with the commitment and dedication of the members that supported the committee and helped with the organisation of this event, and those members who helped with the setting up on Saturday, during the event on Sunday helped with the running of the bars (in the club & outside), providing the excellent fare from the food hall, arranging the bands, manning the gate, working in the drinks token facility, advertising, selling tickets, distributing flyers, the list goes on, and importantly and taking down and clearing up on Monday.

The clearing and cleaning up was also a substantial effort and so a big thank you for all for the members that gave up their time and put in great effort to restore the club to its previous state.

Additionally, the club would like to thank our sponsors for their contribution of perimeter fencing, band stage, scaffolding, stage etc, etc.

A great day achieved by you all, so a massive thank you from me.
