After a weeks Holiday, unpaid, to go on a writing Course encouraged by The "Ryan" Twins comments (same weight, same looks and all). I have come up with this crap stuff below called a Match Report, enjoy.
Fitness was the key aspect of this game. A couple of last minute changes to the starting team and the bench didn't really cause much of a rift for the game. Key word from the Coaches was "Intensity", bring and keep the same intensity we had last week when the mighty Wasps beat Clifton "Toffs" 2nds on their own tump. We had a good chance for that as 9 out of 15 in the starting line up played in that game. For most of the game, this was true, solid defence for 60 mins kept North Bristol at bay, and we were only 6 Nil down. Penalties coming from a slight lack of disipline and a bad restart that enabled North some yards, which led to a Penalty. Most of this happening while Channon (playing 9 at the time) was having a Kit Kat on the touchline listening to Coldplay's first hit "Yellow"! Unfortunately after those 60 mins, and Channon coming back from his break with Chocolate all round his mouth, fitness began to show. With sloppy mistakes, bad decisions, and gaps creeping in our defence, the inevitable was happening. Although we did have our chances in the first 5-10 mins (when Channon was still playing by then), camping out on their line. But the biggest chance came when Weaver chipped a small cross field kick bouncing into the hands of Dan Colton (who had a good game and deserves his place for next week) who opened up those little legs to take on North Bristol. North were on the backfoot but again, chances going begging, and with a 3 to 2 man ratio couldn't score that vital try to go ahead. As it happens, North were the one's who finished their opportunities and scored 3 converted tries from lack of tackling and communication around the ruck area (fitness). All and all a hearted performance from everyone, a tough game next week, but a must win for Whitehalls 1st Team relegation battle! It starts at TRAINING!
My Opinion Only:-
Man of the Game- Badger
Prick of the Match- Christopher "Stop back chatting" Chonnon
Most Improved- Dan "Watch out bruv" Colton
Hope you all enjoyed this history in the making literature.
