Welcome to Coast Soccer Girls!!
We play in the NGFL and train on a Wednesday night (whatever the weather!!) with the aim of developing the girls to be as competitive as possible and more importantly:
• To learn how to play football properly and develop as players
(ball skills, passing, shooting, positional sense etc)
• To learn and appreciate team work
• To build their confidence and self esteem
• To keep fit
• To have fun
With this in mind we try and give all girls equal game time on match days. We play in the Northumberland Girls Football League and all of our games (7 aside) are played on a Saturday morning at Complete Football, Gosforth on 3g turf. Girls should arrive (in their kit) 30 mins prior to kick off to warm up and need:
• Boots (no metal studs)
• Shin pads
• A drink.
• It can be very cold and the girls may also want to wear leggings, gloves etc.
