Whitstable Rugby Club operate a flourishing Youth Section from their Clubhouse and facilities at Reeves Way, situated right next to Sainsbury's.

Training and games are generally played on Sunday mornings from 9.15am onwards and last approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

Whitstable Senior Teams currently boast a host of players who have come up through the Youth Section.

The Under 11s group is for those in Year 6 at school . The game at Under 11’s is broadly the same as at Under 10 level with mini rucks and mauls and simple one on one tackling. Contact is very much controlled to ensure the emphasis of the game is on running, evading and scoring tries. Kicking the ball is introduced to the game which the children love but coaches don’t!

All Coaches are RFU qualified and fully CRB checked, so why not contact your Age Group Coach to see how your child can benefit by playing " probably the finest team game in the world "?
