Mr Brooke receives his volunteer of the year award

On Saturday 9th May, the new Mr Wibsey - Stephen Brooke, received his award for being West and Aire Wharfes volunteer of the year at the West and Aire Wharfe value the volunteer awards, in recognition of all the relentless good work he has done in and around Wibsey Rugby Union.

It was held at Huddersfield RUFC in the Main Bar with a womens and a mens game on to watch too.

The event was hosted by Jimmy Child who is theDistrict Volunteer Coordinator

Its great to see this kind of effort being recognised.
