The Villagers hope to reignite their winning run against league 3rd placers Clifton (who looking to get into the promotion spots) down in South Yorkshire, this has been a well contested match in the past with Wibsey taking the honours this season at home in a tight 22-14 win.

Since Clifton lost to Stanley Rodds (10-7) on 10 Jan Clifton have won away at Rossington (7-13) last week.

After losing out to runaway league toppers Hessle, Wibsey will want to start climbing back up the rankings and if Clifton get complacent in any part of the pitch Wibsey can take advantage.

With only five league games remaining this season, Wibsey can mathematically still get up to third place if all goes to plan.
