Wibsey can end the season in 5th place in Yorkshire 5 if they beat Rods with 4 tries in the bag and if Garforth lose against top of the league Hessle this weekend.

Wibsey have won their last three home matches in a row (Garforth, Thirsk, Rossington), Stanley have won 2 out of their last 3 at the bottom 2 clubs Rossington and Thirsk. Losing last time out at Garforth (35-27) on 28th March, the Villagers dispatched Garforth 29-17 on 10th January this year.

Stanley beat Wibsey at their home by 42 to 7 at the end of September in the first game of the season.

lets hope the progression wibsey have made throughout the season pays off to hoist them above Garforth for the final reckoning.
