Warriors cup fixtures postponed due to recent downpours
Wibsey's attempts to return to Odsal to defend their Jack Senior Memorial Cup have been postponed, after the weeks torrential weather having too much of an effect on the pitch at Birkenshaw.
Rob Hustler's charges were looking forward to their first run-out since the festive break in a repeat of last year's final where The Warriors came out resounding 68-10 winners.
With both sides already having fixtures scheduled over the coming weeks, The Semi-Final tie and also the other match between Wyke and Bank Top Harriers look set to be played on the 28th January at the earliest.
Elsewhere, Wibsey's 'A' team have yet to confirm whether their Bradford Cup tie with Wyke's second string will go ahead. The club's main pitch Northfield Road is unplayable and with the club's Rugby Union side booked to play on Beldon Lane, a late search for a playable pitch could be the order of play come Saturday morning, as they also look to defend their Bradford Cup trophy.
