On Saturday 21st May, the rain held off and 16 teams (over 130 players) competed for the annual Wick Vets Charity Sixaside Trophy. And it was Rapid Viagra who beat Wick A in the final to become champions. The club would like to thank all involved in the day, the referees (Phil Durnell, Pete Stephen, Gary Webb), Celia Davies our tournament secretary, Jeff Britton for all his help with the programme and raffle, Mouse our bar manager, Dave Beer for his cooking expertise, and to Fluff (Mark Faithfull) for preparing the pitches, they looked fantastic. Sorry if we have missed someone as we know how much effort it takes to organise a event of this size.

Our player of the tournament was chosen by the referees and went to Martin Webb for outstanding energy and skill.

The club are really pleased to be able to donate £500 to our chosen charity and look forward to staging the event next year on FA Cup final day.
