All those beers ago

I can't tell you who called it steam but I can tell you that it was the first beer sold at the Club in Aug 1959.Then we had mild @ 1 shilling 2pence and bitter at 1 shilling 4 pence per pint (roughly 6&7 pence now). It was so successful and well kept by Reg Whitfield that we nearly called the ground Tetley Park.
Hope you find out who introduced "steam"
