'Brief Encounter' at Carnforth Railway Station

The Club's Press Officer made the journey to Vale of Lune yesterday stopping off at Carnforth Railways Station which was the location of part of the famous film 'Brief Encounter'

By chance, the station was rammed to capacity with a large number of people who were there to see the 'Flying Scotsman' which was passing through following its recent refurbishment.

Here is a photograph of the train as it set off at about 12.45pm.
