A couple of questions from last Saturday's programme. Can anyone help?
Frank Lawless would like some help naming these players. Here are the suggestions so far:
BACK ROW
(?), (?), P Sutton, E Beatty, P Johnson, either D Jones or Whitfield, Horrocks
MIDDLE: P Higgins, (?), F Tallon, W Jones, (?)
FRONT: (?), (?), R Wasson
The (?)s need identifying and the Jones/Whitfield dispute resolving. Surely someone knows the captain.

Based on a conversation last Thursday when the concert room hosted a chemical worker’s leaving do:
What business names would you have found on these Widnes company sites in the 70s? Innospec, Pentagon Chemicals, Rockwood Additives, Saffil, Thermphos.
Every one of them employed a good number of Wids players.
