King Kev follows Wids World Cup Volunteers to Leeds

Congratulations to Kevin Sinfield who followed Wids RWC representatives Martin Griffiths and John Loughnane to Leeds Beckett University.

"King" Kev will receive a Masters' Degree in Sports Business at Leeds Beckett University next week. Full details are available at:

Widnes RUFC representatives Martin Griffiths and John Loughnane are pictured at Leeds Beckett University RWC Pack Hub Volunteers' meeting earlier this month.

Having been selected for uniformed roles at the England - Uruguay group game in October, our men are now undertaking their training.

Martin, as part of the officer-class Workforce Operations team will have the dual responsibility of checking-in Pack members while gathering stories and anecdotes for Tournament newsletters.

John will be with the foot soldiers of Spectator Services whose aim (and I quote) "is to make sure everyone at a RWC 2015 match has a fantastic experience by providing a friendly welcome and helpful direction". Typecasting, really.
