....but will he make it to the Colts-Vets match?

Former Club Captain Richard Barraclough was at Heath Road for the past players' get-together on Saturday. He wasn't best pleased to find that there was no trace of his existence on the walls or tables of either Heritage Room. The news that he was on display in Runcorn Shopping City as part of Frank Lawless's Halton Heritage Partnership Pop-Up was met with more than a little scepticism. It's true, though. Chairman Snee can guarantee safe passage over the bridge to anyone who wants to visit the mall on any Friday or Saturday in the run-up to Christmas.
In the meantime, here's the missing photo of Richard's Euromanx League winning side.

President Newall signed him up to play for the Vets team against the Colts on December 27th (Confirmed Date - Please Note in your Diary). Whether he changes his mind when the ten pints of Cumberland Bitter have gone through his system is anyone's guess.
Ged Rafferty (another non-Widnesian ex-captain) was tempted to take part until his son told him that training involves doing three laps of Nicky Preston.
