Sale v Widnes
Widnes had to suffer the disappointment of travelling to Sale on Saturday, before finding out that the game was postponed because of a frozen pitch.
A pitch inspection of Heywood Road at 11.00am had declared the game ‘on’ only for the game to be called off later on after Widnes had made the journey to Heywood Road.
