Annual Wigan Borough Sports Awards.

Hi All
Thanks for all the RFL Awards nominations, their were some great applications so fingers crossed we have some winners! Im now looking for nominations for the Wigan Borough sports awards, these are local awards for every sport across the borough, we have some very hard working volunteers in Wigan & Leigh so lets get planty of nominations in an ensure the rugby league community gets the credit it deserves. details below

The 12th Annual Wigan Borough Sports Awards
Wigan Sports Development will be hosting the Wigan Borough Sports Awards on Friday 12th October at the DW Stadium. As it is an Olympic year, we want to make this years awards the biggest and best yet! The nomination campaign is open and we are welcoming nominations for the following categories:
Coach of the Year
Club of the Year
Sports Achiever of the Year
Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year
Unsung Hero
Volunteer of the Year
Team of the Year
The closing dates for nominations is Friday 10th August 2012. Please email or post to the address below.
Each nominee will receive a complimentary ticket to the evening and we have secured International Athlete, Jenny Meadows to speak at the event as well as a number of Wigan's Olympic Torchbearers.
