The 2nd XI have gone the full league season undefeated to gain the Minor League title

The 2nd XI ended the 2016 in simply fantastic fashion. For the first time in the new history of the side - since their reentry into the CCA leagues in 2012 - the 2nd XI gained their first title, the Minor League title.

The team boast a perfect record of 15-0 from their league fixtures and celebrated in fine fashion at this weekends Race and Presentation night.

'Going undefeated in any league in any sport is always a magnificent achievement' claimed Club Captain Tom Walker. 'Ben Shipp and interim captain Paul Dewey have done a magnificent job in keeping a positive and grounding atmosphere amongst the players. They have trained hard all year and look at the rewards. This is something very very special to enjoy.' Walker spoke to us at the Junior Cup final where Paul Dewey, pictured above, received the Minor League trophy.

With the undefeated label the club have announced that they are attempting to request a double job in leagues to Junior 5 for the 2017 season.
