MAKING WILMSLOW SAFER
The club would like to thank our friends at Polydeck Ltd, makers of GRIPFAST with the UK's leading range of quality anti slip products, for their help
In our recent review of safety we have identified the Patio and wooden sleepers as areas which needs focused attention. Our actions to date are to clean and treat the areas, preventing algae growth. We have identified three other mitigation steps:
1) Patio - With support from Polydeck Ltd, makers of GRIPFAST, through Mark McCall we have made safe the ramp with non-slip materials.
2) Patio - Once we have a dry period we will coat the reminder of the deck with non-slip paint, whilst we consider a longer term solution.
3) Sleepers - we will be covering with a wire netting to prevent slipping.
Given Polydeck have kindly donated the materials I would like to think them for their support. If anyone is interested in their products please read the enclosed material.
We continue to respond to all matters drawn to our attention but until we fully reminder the safety concerns please be careful on the decking, which can become slippy when wet.
