TALE OF THREE CAPTAINS: KENDAL PREDICTION
Who are the three Wolves captains to have captained for three seasons (or more) and have identical records against Kendal?
The answer to the questions is simple and can be found in the statistics below, the Wolves record against Kendal [1928-2014]- who the Wolves are hosting at the Memorial Ground this Saturday.
Mike Black (in his third season skipping the Wolves) has a win record to match those of two of our greatest skippers David Barker (Played two: lost one [1964-1965], won one [1965-66] - with four seasons as captain) and Mike Hamlyn (Played two: lost one [1982-1983], won one [1983-84] - with three and half years captain). Mike tips in with best result an away win, something not quite right there, 41-0. Maybe Mike can give the Wolves some tips on long away trips!
There is a curious symmetry about these results! Each lost their first game and won the second but no-one has captained against Kendal three times!!! What will the new record be on Saturday? After the win on Saturday, home ground advantage, the Wolves will go in confident of setting a new club record against Kendal at the weekend: come along and support the team this weekend, the Wolves first home league game.
