The Ravens, finished the season on a high as they were promoted to league four south on the final day of the season. Crewe RUFC had initially done enough to secure the second spot by beating Didsbury by eighty odd points. But were left bitterly disappointed when Macclesfield 5 cried off their fourth game of the season. Meaning that all their results were voided. Leaving the Ravens in second place.
