Savills - Youth Sponsor - Savills Look To the Future
Winchester Rugby Football Club have signed a new three-year sponsorship deal with Savills (Winchester). Savills are supporting the future of Winchester rugby by becoming the principal sponsor of the Club's Mini, Youth and Colt sections.
Commenting on the new deal, Head of Residential Sales at Savills (Winchester) Steven Moore said, "We had been looking for some time for a sporting initiative to compliment our recent support of the Rifles Care For Casualties Campaign, one that was an integral part of the Winchester community and something that we as a company could really become part of, and WRFC fitted the bill perfectly. Becoming principal supporter of the junior section, that with over 350 members is one of the largest in the South, means we are genuinely supporting the future of rugby in Winchester".
Simon Macey, Chairman of WRFC added, "We were especially pleased that Savills wanted to make this a three year agreement from the onset. We both believe that for sponsorship projects to be truly successful they have to be developed and nurtured over time, to ensure both parties see positive results. We're also delighted to have the support of such an established brand, one that has both a national presence, but equally a real commitment to regional and community projects. We think it's a great deal for the club and a great deal for the community".
