Welcome to the U11s
The U11 age group is made up from children whose birthdays are between 1 September 2000 to 31 August 2001, or current school Year 6.
The squad is flourishing but there is always room for more, so if you have never tried rugby but would love to give it a go, either just turn up at one of our Sunday training sessions,or contact one of the coaches or team manager (details below) to find out more.
Training sessions run from 10am to 12pm on Devil's Island, which is behind River Park Leisure Centre over the footbridge. We also take part in many tournaments throughout the season, as well as friendly matches against other teams, both in Hampshire and beyond. The season begins in September and culminates at the beginning of May with our annual tour to St Lô in northern France, where a fantastic time is had by all.
At Under 11, the children are developing their contact skills under the very watchful eyes of the coaches, who are also parents of children in the same age group. New players can quickly learn the rules and skills of the game.
