A full squad of Winchester players gave up their Saturday afternoon to help apply a bright new coat or two of paint to the changing rooms and entrance lobby of the club. This task had been long overdue and although a start had been made on one changing room, it was the organised teamwork of 15+ players that saw the job reach completion. Matt Lown put out the call and the response from the players was excellent - Head Coach Andy Fields was even able to specify what colour he wanted the floor of the 1st XV changing room. Such is the strength of a team pulling together, and it bodes well for the re-launch of the club social space on the 30th August when we will be holding a Family day to celebrate all the improvements.
