MAKING ON-LINE PAYMENTS

INTRODUCTION: Wingrave Junior Football Club (WJFC) manages the collection of any payments due to the club via the club website at http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/wingravejuniorfootballclub/. Any payments due, such as Season Subscriptions, are defined as ‘PAYMENT PRODUCTS’ and can be found under the ‘PAYMENTS’ section of the club website. Club members are then able to ‘buy’ the products as necessary. [For example; parents of playing members ‘Buy’ a Season Subscription on behalf of their child.]

Payments via the club website are managed via a 3rd party Authorised Payment Institution called GoCardless [see https://gocardless.com/ for more details.] GoCardless is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Payments for products are collected by GoCardless as a Direct Debit (from any UK Bank Account.) and collected funds are then transferred to the WJFC Club bank account.

BEFORE BUYING A PAYMENT PRODUCT:
STEP 1) Payment Products MUST be linked to a member of the club. Therefore if you are a parent making a payment on behalf of your child then your child MUST be listed within the Club Membership Database. [To check this, go to the club website homepage and click on ‘View club members list’ on the lower right hand side of the page. The person who the payment is being made for must be listed] If the person is not listed then the ‘Joining The Club’ process needs to be followed before buying any Payment Products.

STEP 2) Payment requires a GoCardless account and if you do not already have one then you will be asked to create an account during the payment process and this requires the following information:
the Bank Sort Code and the Bank account Number of the UK bank account to be used for payment
Please have these details ready.

STARTING THE PROCESS: To start the buying process either click on ‘Buy This Product’ on the ‘Payment Products’ page of the club website OR if you have received a notification email, click on the ‘Pay Now’ button, then follow the on-screen instructions.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Please note that some payment products, such as subscription products, collect some information as part of the payment process.

FAQ
What if I have more than one child? - You will need to complete a separate payment for each child

What do I do if I cannot make use of on-line payments - The Club STRONGLY encourages the use of on-line payment as this simplifies the administration of the club and minimises the burden upon the volunteers who run the club. If you are unable to pay on-line please discuss this with the appropriate Team Manager for advice on alternative payment methods.
