Winlaton Vulcans Rugby Club would like thank the Big Lottery Fund for their support when they were successful in their application for an ‘Awards for All’ grant for £9.300.00 for a project to Install Energy Saving Efficiency Boilers and ancillary energy saving equipment.
This award enabled the Club to target specific areas in the premises and install the appropriate devices to reduce energy consumption which has been a huge benefit to Club.
This project will also help to achieve the Governments targets of reducing energy and the carbon footprint.
Colin Hurst Club Chairman says
“With the generous support of the Big Lottery Fund we have been able to carry out these improvements which will not only help to reduce our utility energy consumption but the benefit will have a knock on effect of making more funds available within the Club.
This will enable us to continue in our efforts to improve our facility for the benefit of all who use the Club.
