Over the weekend of the 27th/28th June 2014 Club volunteers and their families came to the Vulcans to help to carry out the numerous tasks needed to get the Club ship shape for the forthcoming season.
A platform was hired to paint the goalposts together with the flag pole which needed a much needed facelift.
Club members Ray Hamilton and Geoff Hunter volunteered for the daunting task of the high altitude painting and rose to the task.
By the end of the weekend the job was done and the new Winlaton Vulcans flag on the freshly painted pole was hoisted.
Loads of other essential tasks like painting the changing rooms and other areas inside and outside the Club and the playing area were tidied and spruced up.
The Club would like to thank all the volunteers who attended for their efforts and support over the weekend for this projects.
