The new season subscriptions are due from the 1st September
Its that time of year again folks where we dust off our wallets and purses and pay our dues for the next year.
There have been no increases in your annual membership for the last two years, unfortunately the Committee has had to make the decision to raise the subscriptions for the upcoming season, this has been driven by increases in the utility costs and grounds maintenance in the last 18 months. For those of you who were not able to attend the AGM in July our accounts showed a small loss for the previous financial year. It costs us somewhere in the region of £5000 per month just to open the doors and run the club. The rise is a small one and still represents probably the best value for money of any club in Cheshire for the facilities that we enjoy.
There have been some changes to the way that the subscriptions are paid for as well. If you log into the club website, (which I'm sure you're all registered with!!) and click on the button that says Pay My Subs you will be taken to the products page where you will see all of the membership types along with a brief explanation of what they cover. You will also notice some new products.
A vast number of our members already pay for their subscriptions by monthly direct debit and if you have already signed up for this then you do not need to do anything with this, the payments will continue as they already do. This is the preferred method of payment for the club as it enables us to budget by giving us an all year round income month by month.
If you have paid for your subs in an annual "lump sum" in previous years then you still can, just click on the correct product and fill in your details and bank details on the form.
The main change is regarding "Family Memberships". From this year you will pay a one off extra payment at the start of the season for additional PLAYING children. Your standard family membership cover membership for both parents/carers ONE playing child and all other siblings. If you have Two PLAYING children you will pay an extra £10, for Three PLAYING children an extra £20 and four or more PLAYING children an extra £30. Think of these extra products as "bolt-ons" like a mobile phone contract.
You can pay for the extras on line by logging in and buying the correct product for the number of PLAYING children in your family unit or you can pay for them at the club over the bar.
All of this will be monitored by your team admins who will be available to talk you through this if you encounter any problems. I will be at the club on the first weekend in September with the laptop to help out too.
There is also a one off £10 bolt-on payment for all senior playing members.
A reminder though that your subscriptions run from 1st September till 31st August. If you pay by direct debit please do not cancel the debit in the off season, the total amount has been divided into 12 easy to afford £10 per month payments. If you cancel your debits at the end of the season you will not have paid your full amount for the year and may lose the right to pay by installments in any future seasons.
