Player Joins New Rugby League Team
Broadbent joins North Wales Crusaders RL after successful trial and pre-season games.
Wirral first XV player Sam Broadbent recently successfully took part in trials and pre-season games for the fledgling rugby league club. As well as playing rugby union up through the age groups here at Wirral, he previously played rugby league for Wirral Warriors and Chester Gladiators; he also represented his country in the England Lionhearts amateur rugby league team in 2011.
North Wales Crusaders are a professional rugby league club based in Wrexham, Wales. The successors to the former Super League club Crusaders Rugby League, they will play in the Championship 1 competition starting in the 2012 season. They will play their home games at Racecourse Ground.
