On 24th May 2018 Witham Rugby Club was given approval by the Financial Conduct Authority(FCA) to convert from a Provident and Mutual Society to a Limited Company guaranteed by shares.

It is now possible to distribute shares to all members

Shares will be distributed on the following basis
1. Any current club member with up to 10 years continuous membership will receive 100 shares

2. Any current club member with more than 10 years continuous membership will receive 200 shares

All members have the right to buy further shares, currently with no upper limit at the price of 100p per share

On Thursday 14th and Friday 29th June between 7.00pm and 9.00pm any member who wishes to take up this offer must sign for their shares at this time, indicating whether they wish to buy further shares.

Only in exceptional circumstances will documents for signature be sent to members(for example if they live abroad or a significant distance from the club). No further meetings are planned and any award of shares to members who miss either of these meetings will not be granted, (where applicable) until May 2019.

If any member wishes to purchase further shares full payment for those shares must be made at the time either by cash, cheque or bank transfer. Payment details will be available at the meeting.
