Since then we have built the club with a community feel and the majority of players attend local schools Balfour, Withdean & Downs. Dorothy Stringer and Varndean schools have continued producing players and home games are played on the schools campus. The future has taken an exciting turn this season as talks with Whitehawk FC has resulted in a subsequent merger next season 2010/11. This will see Hawks Youth established and we will become the largest youth football club in Brighton with 20 teams. The long term plan to establish a community club and the progressive ambitions of Whitehawk FC to develop as a Ryman League club and improve facilities will give us the structure to develop players of all levels and continue the success over past seasons.
Our continued support from Saturday Soccer School based at Varndean College also ensures boys and girls are offered a positive football experience within a local club.
