Hard to believe but we are very nearly at the end of the season already, and just when the sun has decided to come out! So with this in mind we are looking towards the annual celebration of all things Hawks Youth FC and putting plans in place to hold a great big club bash. The date for our End of Season presentation is Sunday 11th May( put it in your diaries) and it will be held at Brighton Rugby Club (Waterhall Rd, Brighton and Hove, Brighton, East Sussex BN1 8YR) between 12pm – 5pm.

The format of the day will include the following:

· Adults 5-aside football tournament (to be held on the 3G pitch between 10am-12pm)

· BBQ

· Drinks

· Presentations

· Entertainment

· Games

We need volunteers to be part of the planning committee to ensure we can really pull off a spectacular event so if you can help in any of the following areas please get in touch with me asap (daniellehawksyouthfc@gmail.com) :

Music – for those rock stars amongst you, we would love to have a band/music on the day. Can you help?

Catering – do you have a catering background and/or access to BBQ equipment? We want to hear from you!

Activities – fun games/activities/challenges for our attendees to get involved in…..everyone loves a bit of competition!

Obviously the more hands on deck the better so any support you can give would be much appreciated. It’s been a good year for the club and one that I have enjoyed being a part of as Chair for the first time so it’s time to celebrate.

There are loads of exciting plans for the future being developed at the moment which we will be sharing with you all over the coming months and at the presentation event so please keep an eye out for further information.

In the meantime, good luck to everyone in your remaining games and we look forward to seeing many of you on the 11th May.
