Annual Dinner Menu

2011 Meal

Witney Lakes (The Sports Bar)

Sat. 8th October 2011

7pm for 7.30pm


Starters

• Homemade vegetable soup
• Smooth chicken liver pate with red onion marmalade and granary toast
• Poached salmon with crème fraiche, lime and chervil


Main Courses

• Roast loin of pork flavoured with caraway and served with an apple and sage sauce
• Roast breast of chicken wrapped in smoked bacon with roasted shallots and madiera sauce
• Grilled fillet of salmon served with a herb crust and shellfish sauce

Desserts

• Belgium chocolate and brandy torte with locally made double cream and season berries
• Caramelised lemon tart with candied lemon
• Profiteroles with vanilla cream and hot chocolate sauce

Bar closes 12 midnight.

Disco ends 12.30am

The balance for anybody having paid a deposit is now due and must be paid by 10 September at the latest, payable to either Janet Craig, Sue Cross or Dave Woodward. With a few places still available, anybody wishing to go who has not paid a deposit needs to pay the full amount (£25) by the same date. No monies paid will be refundable.

Menu selections should also be confirmed to one of the 3 above, again by 10 September.
