PARKING!!!!!!!! Please be advised we are expecting a very good crowd for the Charity game so please consider how you will be getting to the Ground.

Car parking is limited and though there is an adjacent houing estate we would advise that if you can, please walk to the game (if local) or use public transport. Alternatively look to car share if you know of others going. We shall be doing our upmost to provide as much parking as possible.

GATES OPEN FROM MIDDAY WITH A HOST OF THINGS ON OFFER TO KEEP YOU ENTERTAINED UNTIL THE BIG MATCH WHICH KICKS OFF AT 3PM.

Tickets:

Tickets can currently be purchased at the Post office located within the lower end of Wivenhoe, currently at a discounted price of £4 adults/ £2 Children (Age 14 and under). Age 2 and under are free.

On the day the tickets will be full price at a cost of £8 adults and £4 children.

Wivenhoe Town XI vs Arsenal Ex-pro's & Celebrity Team Sunday 3rd July 2011 Kick Off 3pm

The Arsenal Charity Team, which is an official branch of the famous London club, will field a team of former players and sports and TV stars who support the club in a game against Wivenhoe Town on 3rd July at the town’s ground.

The game will be part of a joint family day organised by Wivenhoe and Arsenal to raise money for a selection of charities including the Sports Charity Trust, Football In The Community as well as regeneration funding for Wivenhoe’s ground and training facilities, as well as Arsenal’s charity partners.

In addition to the game itself there will be plenty of other entertainment for families including half time penalty shoot out, youth match, FIFA Xbox (We should explain to readers who are unfamiliar.) cheerleaders, face painting, raffle for some great prizes, and much more. There will also be a fully licensed bar and club house facilities, a selection of hot and cold food and soft drinks and sweets.
