Wivenhoe Town's longest serving player, Ben Lampon, has decided to leave the club. Lampon has played 223 times for Wivenhoe Town, scoring 8 goals. Ben is just four appearances short of being amoungst Wivenhoe's top ten appearance makers of all time.

In a comment to the unofficial supporters forum, Lampon said - "Thank you for all of your support over the years that you've given me and my teammates. Through all the tough seasons when we were finishing in the bottom 3. And not forgetting last season, winning the league which I'll never forget and neither will anyone who played a part in it"

The club would like to thank Ben for all his efforts in his many season's at Wivenhoe Town and wish him all the best for the future.
