Firstly I would like to say well done to the reserve team for gaining promotion.

It's a fantastic achievement and the relegation of the first team should by no means take away the great job done by the management and players and should not stop the celebrations.

For the first team unfortunately after battling relegation for so long I was unable to keep us in the Premier Division.

I would like to thank everyone involved in the club from the supporters, club members and especially to the players.

I'm the manager of the team and I will accept the blame, I tried my best but it wasn't good enough I don't need anyone to tell me that or am I after any sympathy.

I look back at many moments over the season and can dwell on key moments but the bottom line is we have been relegated and that I now can't change.

We have to deal with our final league match of the season next Saturday at home against Ely and then sit down with the players to see which ones are up for a new challenge next season.

I have made plenty of mistakes throughout my management but what has happened has happened and I can not change that now but I am learning and will always keep learning and I will accept the failure of trying to keep us up. I can honestly say I did everything my own way with my decisions, I have always listen to advise and taking ideas on board that is part of coaching and management, but also part of management you have to live and die by the decisions and accept the responsibility of the consequences.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to all the players and in no way have they ever let me or the club down and I'm very proud of each and everyone one of them. I have seen them mature from boys into young men and they have always been a pleasure to work with and have been right by me all the way and for that I'm thankful.

The pain of the final whistle yesterday will live with me forever and that horrible feeling I will never forget and the reaction of the players was clear to see just how much the club means to us all.

Finally I would like to thank all the club members that help out around the club week in week out and to our supporters no matter if we win lose or draw everyone have always sung your hearts out, I would like to acknowledge that it does make a difference to the players of just how much they are appreciated for their efforts.

All I have left to say is I'm sorry if I've let anyone down, that was never my intentions.

Regards
Mo
