Provisional League Allocation

The FA have released the provisonal league allocations for Steps 5 and 6 of the the non league pyramid.

Having finished bottom of the Eastern Countries Premier Division, Wivenhoe Town have been relegated to the new step 6 Eastern Senior League.

The new league is a jointly run by the Eastern Countries (ECL) and Essex Senior Leagues (ESL). The leagues footprint covers Essex and Eastern parts of London.

To create the league, teams have been accepted for promotion from lower down the pyramid. They join existing step 5 and 6 clubs from the ECL and ESL.

The Dragons will therefore have an increased number of local north Essex derbies as well as games against new opposition.
