Turner previously played for Wivenhoe Town in the Southern League and Isthmian League. The striker spent last season at Stanway Rovers scoring 15 goals. His other previous clubs include Halstead Town, Bratham Athletic and a spell as manager of FC Clacton.

Former Assistant manager Kevin Brown will return to Wivenhoe for his sixth season on the coaching staff but due to work commitments he is unable to dedicate as much of his time to the team. The club would like to thank Kev for everything he has done in his time as Mo's assistant
