Wivenhoe Town make the trip to Barkingside on Saturday, who compete one level above at Step 4 of the Non-League Pyramid. Barkingside drew 1-1 with Heybridge Swifts whom recently beat Brightlingsea Regent and are described as a strong physical side.
Manager Mo is envisaging a tough trip but remains optimistic with the opportunity to enjoy another FA Cup game, something we've not been able to enjoy for a few Seasons now. "We enjoyed our victory against Brantham but we must not get carried away and now focus on the FA Cup against Barkingside away. We will travel with the same squad to Barkingside apart from Joe Davis who will be unavailable now until November.
We will expect a tough match but who knows, it's the FA Cup and stranger things have happened! We will go into the game with confidence after our midweek win but will approach the match with caution and a game plan which we hope will get us into the next round.
What ever happens I'm confident we will give a good account of ourselves and believe in the players we have to cause a possible upset."
