We have access to the pitch from 1400 so please arrive for 1345 so we can get warmed up and onto the pitch for 1400.

Please remind your parents there are two car parks in the park. The north one by the bridge is a long walk from the astro pitches by south west gate, the south east car park is about a 5 min walk. You can also try and park in Prince of Wales Drive south of the park or roads running off it, but only limited spaces not used by residents, but free whereas Wandsworth Council charges for parking even on a Sunday
ADDITONAL INFORMATION FOR TRAVELLING TO THE MATCH ON SUNDAY
Yes we are all set. We can start when you are ready after 2.00pm as we have the pitch until 3.30pm. If they come into Waterloo and out again, Battersea Park station is closest station. That is close to the south east corner of the park. The astro is at the south west corner, next to Go Ape playground. The walk is deceptive in length, so they should allow about 15 mins.
Come out of the station. Turn right and walk to T/Lights. Turn right again and walk up to the roundabout by the south east gate. Enter the park there. At the corner with Prince of Wales Drive. Do not walk north towards Battersea Bridge and main entrance as you end up going a mile out of your way to walk back down through the park. Once inside south east corner of park follow the path westwards keeping boating lake on your right. Keep walking until you see astros at the end. Entrance to Astros is on north west corner, so best to walk through Go Ape Playground and in that way. Please ask the girls not to go the other way round across the grass as the council get upset if players walk mud onto the astro. There is space inside to warm up, rather than running on the grass if they arrive early.
If parents are driving, please suggest they park in Prince of Wales Drive or roads off the side of that as its free on a Sunday. You can park inside SE Gate if no spaces free, but they charge for car park.
