First XV Achieves Promotion to Midland 2 (Level 7
Congratulations To All Players and Coaches For The Strong Performances This Season.
With another comprehensive victory in the last game of the season against Uttoxeter, Wolves secured promotion to Midlands 2 for the 2012/2013 Season. This is a fantastic achievement for the team as they have trained hard and played extremely well to have the highest points scored in the league by a long way.
Congratulations must go to all players but special mentions to Saul Perry, Richard Port, Neil Jones and Captain Ian Harley for the hard work in preparing the team for each game.
We estimated it would take us two years to move up from this level of rugby which we have done. But over the summer the hard work must continue as we have a young side going into a more competitive league with teams such as Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury and Saltlians.
