Looking forward to 2012...

3 years ago, By Ian Mitchell

The Wolverines are going into hibernation for the winter but are already looking ahead to 2012!

With the development of the club being so prominent in 2011, everybody is eagerly anticipating 2012.

Pre-season plans are being made as we speak, sponsors are handing over gratefully received money and kit is being ordered (see the article picture!).

With results on the field not going the Wolverines way last season, the main focus for 2012 is to improve on the park. This cannot happen however, without the club growing and developing off the ground too.

With this in mind, events to look out for are

  • the Christmas celebrations on December 10 in Rileys (7pm)

  • the Wolverines AGM where we will decide on a committee, sort membership etc (date and time TBC)

  • the beginning of pre-season training which will be open to new and existing members, any age, gender and skill level welcome (date and time TBC)

Where next?

Christmas Social The Wolverines extend an open invite for anyone to join them for a few Christmas beers this coming weekend...
£400+ raised for Balls to Cancer By doing the October 5km fun run, some of the lads managed to raise over £400.
