Woodbank CC have the pleasure of announcing Andrew Van Zyl as our overseas player for 2015 season. Andrew is a top order batter and right arm off spinner who comes highly recommended by his border compatriots Burton De Wett (Haslingden CC Pro) and Marty Walters (Prestwich CC Pro) as a player ideally suited to UK league cricket.

Andrew has played for Border all the way through his provisional age groups including their academy side and is trying hard to break through into the 1st class side. He plays his club cricket for United CC who are top of the South African premier league. Andrew is also a level two cricket coach and is keen as mustard to work hard for both the 1st team and with our Juniors this season and is really excited in joining us.

We are all excited to welcome Andrew to the club and wish him every success for the 2015 season.
