The lads said farewell to Matty as he played his last game in a red shirt today at the Haslingden tournament.
And he put in another fine attacking display that marked his time with the lads.
They say that goals change and win football matches. And Matty has scored over 100 in his 2 seasons with the lads, so his presence will be sorely missed.
With pace to burn, stong and physical and a tremendous shot to boot - he really is a defenders nightmare. He leaves the lads to have a crack at the Prem with Bridge Hawks. I am sure he will be a great success there and we wish him all the best. All we ask is that he remembers us when he is playing for Burnley FC!

Never one to let the grass to grow under my feet, and having seen damage on the horizon in the shape of the Town Team, I had put the feelers out for new players and am delighted to welcome Billy,Jack & Tom T to Woodbank. All three were playing Div C football last season, but they have already proved that they have what it takes to make the step up.
Billy is a striker in the poacher mode whilst Jack and Tom T can play in either defence or midfield. I am sure that all 3 will prove to be great additions to the team.
