Woodies well beaten by Flams

Woodies were soundly beaten by a strong Flams at Meggetland last night.

Only highlights worth noting (from a Woodies perspective anyway)...

• Big Al running our Tony O'Hara for a duck 1st ball
• Carvel maintaining his hoodoo over big Corne holding on to a tough catch off Al's bowling. (Relief for Carvel really as he did drop Corne off Al's bowling for what would heave been 1st ball duck!)
• Big Al taking a great catch with the ball coming over his shoulder at full tilt
• Great opening knock from Carvel who was the only Woodie to reach "not out" - and managed to stay not out when he came back in at the innings close.

The rest of us were I'm afraid decidedly average.
